Here, from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, are state road conditions as of noon The report is by troop, listing only areas where conditions are of concern:

• TROOP A (headquarters: Oklahoma City. Covers rural Canadian, Cleveland, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Pottawatomie and metro Oklahoma.) — Roadways have large sections of ice, especially on bridges and overpasses. Caution and slow speeds are encouraged.

• TROOP B (headquarters: Tulsa. Covers Creek, Okmulgee and Tulsa counties.) — Roads in Tulsa, Okmulgee and Rogers counties are just wet. With temperatures near freezing, conditions could change quickly. Roads in Creek County are also wet, with areas from Bristow west in Creek County having some areas with ice.

• TROOP G (headquarters: Lawton. Covers Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jefferson and Stephens counties.) — All of Troop G area, including Interstate 44 (H.E. Bailey Turnpike) is experiencing light to moderate freezing rain. Bridges and overpasses are quickly becoming slick and hazardous. Main roads are starting to freeze over in some areas. Sanding crews have been out all night.

• TROOP H (headquarters: Clinton. Covers Beckham, Custer, Dewey, Roger Mills and Washita counties.) — All roadways are slick. Caution is advised.

• TROOP I (headquarters: Guymon. Covers Beaver, Cimarron, Ellis, Harper, Texas and Woodward counties.) — Cimarron, Texas and Beaver counties have not received precipitation and roadways are clear and dry. Harper, Ellis and Woodward counties are receiving freezing drizzle. Roads are extremely slick and hazardous especially over bridges and overpasses. Motorists need to exercise extreme caution in these areas due to the roads being covered in black ice.

• TROOP J (headquarters: Enid. Covers Alfalfa, Blaine, Garfield, Grant, Kingfisher, Major and Woods counties.) — All counties in Troop J are reporting slick and hazardous highways. Blaine and Kingfisher have slick spots and slick bridges and overpasses. ODOT crews are out. Grant County reporting quarter-inch of ice on highways there.

• TROOP K (headquarters: Pawnee. Covers Kay, Noble, Osage, Pawnee and Payne counties.) — All counties have scattered icy conditions. No roads are closed.

• TROOP L (headquarters: Vinita. Covers Craig, Delaware, Mayes, Nowata, Otawa, Rogers and Washington counties.) — Washington and Nowata County roads are slick in sports. Craig, Ottawa, Mayes and Delaware counties roads are wet.

• TROOP M (headquarters: Altus. Covers Greer, Harmon, Jackson, Kiowa and Tillman counties.) — There are no known hazardous conditions in this area. Roadways are becoming ice-covered from light freezing drizzle that has been falling. Working accidents on bridges and roadways.
