State seeks nominations for tourism awards

HELENA, Mont. (AP) — The Montana Department of Commerce says it is looking for nominations for its annual tourism awards.

The Governor's Tourism Advisory Council gives awards to the people, communities, events and partnerships that excel in tourism.

Commerce Department director Meg O'Leary says the awards recognize the people and places that help the state's great tourism industry.

The award winners will be announced at the Governor's Conference on Tourism and Recreation to be held in Helena in late March
