State tennis tournaments: Edmond North's David Hager, Heritage Hall's Nick Harvey-Funches among players to watch

Here are some metro-area tennis players to watch at the boys Class 6A, 5A and 4A state tournaments Friday and Saturday at the Oklahoma City Tennis Center:

David Hager, Edmond North, 6A: A three-time state champ an No. 2 singles, Hager will try to become a four-timer, this time at No. 1 singles as Edmond North makes a run at the team title.

McCann Bell and Preston Choi, Edmond Memorial, 6A: The No. 1 doubles tandem earned one of three Bulldog regional championships.

Reid Streller and Brett Herrin, OCS, 5A: Both won singles titles in regionals.

Nick Harvey-Funches, Heritage Hall, 5A: Harvey-Funches leads a potent Heritage Hall lineup after a strong season at No. 1 singles.

Blake Crawford, Mount St. Mary, 4A: Crawford won No. 1 singles as the Rockets swept their 4A regional.
