“The 2014 Oklahoma Travel Guide's iconic design, captivating content and stunning photography provide a compelling narrative about Oklahoma's resplendent beauty and diversity,” said Deby Snodgrass, executive director of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. “From Outdoor Adventures, Film and Music, History and Genealogy to travel in Cowboy Country and Native America, it's an open invitation to see the state from a whole new perspective.”

The new travel guide is a one-stop source for Oklahoma travelers. Loaded with historic and incredibly helpful and useful information, you'll find everything needed for that next trip, including a map showing the six regions of Oklahoma; Green Country; Frontier Country; Chickasaw Country; Great Plains Country; Kiamichi Country and Red Carpet Country, each with its own unique geography and treasures just waiting to be discovered.

Throughout the guide, you'll also find numerous “call out” sections, informative nuggets of information from Made in Oklahoma products to kid-friendly activities. Each section has a map and details about that region, interesting things to do and places to stay. With stunning photography, and all the detailed information on the state's must-see attractions, the guide highlights the unique and appealing aspect of each area of the state.
