Oklahoma state workers sent home; Capitol closed

Nonemergency state workers in central Oklahoma were sent home this morning because of deteriorating weather conditions.

The state Capitol is closed, with only a few employees still at their posts. All but the west entrances are locked. The Oklahoma History Center , just to the east of the Capitol, also closed today.

Because of inclement weather, nonessential, or nonemergency, state employees are off today ...
