Kent Bryan, son of Keith and Rebecca Bryan, issued the following statement today:

“On behalf of our family, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has shown us such great kindness these past few days.

“The support and encouragement we have received from so many people has been overwhelming.

“The help we have gotten, both in large ways and small ways, means the world to us. It is something we will never forget and will always appreciate.

“We are proud of our dad. He touched so many lives. We are happy that many of his friends and colleagues were able to honor his service with us here today.

“Now we would ask that everyone would respect our family as we face the days ahead. We understand that there is interest in the things we are going through. But we would request that our privacy be respected and that we be afforded the space that anyone in our situation would want.

“If there are inquires from the media or others, we request that they be directed to our adviser and attorney, Lance Cargill... Thank you again to everyone who has reached out to us with support.”
