I know this may seem like me just being a big OU homer or a stupid fan, but I genuinely think if OU can get hot, they could make a serious NCAA tournament run. Maybe even to the Final Four. Thoughts? Am I just crazy?

I'm not sure how much hotter we can see Oklahoma get than what we've already seen. Their first 32 minutes of Texas was their most complete basketball all season ... and it was followed by eight horrible minutes and a terrible overtime where they couldn't stop Myck Kabongo. I have a hard time seeing them making it to the Final Four, but then again this has been a season of upsets.

Looking at Joe Lunardi's bracketology. he has Oklahoma as a 10 seed playing No. 7 seed North Carolina. UNC has had its bad games but that is still a sound ball club. Let's give Oklahoma the pass and put them with a victory into the next round off Lunardi's bracket.

The Sooners would play the winner of Michigan/Montana. I say Michigan takes that one with flying colors. So you have Oklahoma vs. Michigan. That's like Oklahoma playing Kansas because Michigan is one of the strongest ball clubs in the nation. I'm not sure I see the Sooners beating the Wolverines.

Honestly, I think this is the Big Ten's year. They are a strong league this season and I think they'll be fighting over themselves for spots in the Final Four. However, this is March Madness — the season of upsets and it's a complete possibility that a No. 16 seed upsets a No. 1 seed.
