Call your shot: are the Sooners dancing this year?

Couldn't you have waited after this seven-game stretch to ask me this? Let's say this. If they win the ones at home, steal a couple more on the road and go 3-4 during this seven-game stretch I think they are dancing. However, Kruger's rebuilding history shows that Florida and UNLV did not go dancing until his third year, but people are already talking about how ahead of schedule they think he is with this team.

Curious to get your take on frosh guard, Buddy Hield. I love watching him play and seems to already be a Sooner fan favorite.

Let's start with this. When he sees me he goes: "What's up Daddy-O." That's a direct quote. The kid has an incredible energy. I was talking with one of the other media members yesterday. We were watching OU's practice and it was getting really intense. Amath was mad. Romero was mad. They were all focused and angry ... and there's Buddy singing and talking at the side. He's not being disrespectful. It just seems like certain things don't faze him, like a bigger game. Not in a way like he doesn't care, in a way like it's going to be a game like all the rest and he's going to compete in. Basketball wise, he's aggressive, he's smart and he brings them an energy that goes throughout the whole team. I could tell you tons more on him but I'll start with that.

Who is the best dunker this year for the Sooners?

You saw this, right? I'd have to go with Amath with Cam Clark in second. Amath just has more chances and he's going to shout more after than Cam will. Plus, Amath was just doing some in practice yesterday that were interesting — until he missed one and got reprimanded.

I've been impressed with Cam Clark's move to the "4." Does he seem to be embracing the role in practice/interviews
