Stephanie Kuzydym: Sterling Shepard, Ty Darlington are Sooners to watch in 2012

I just saw the post on Sporting News ranking the Sooners No. 4. High, low or just right?

I would say since they slotted Kansas State No. 6, just right. I can't see them being just a slot in front of Kansas State with having Jones returning and with all the talk of Trey Metoyer, Sterling Shepard and Dom Whaley back. I think putting them ahead of LSU, Alabama and USC would have been putting them too high. Afterall, OU did lose Broyles.

Rank the toughest games on OU's schedule in order, with West Virginia being the toughest.

WVU the toughest (because OU is going to Morgantown and Geno Smith and all). Kansas State the next toughest (Collin Klein and they are being ranked pretty high preseason.) Texas ... (I don't think we need an explanation why). Notre Dame (because of the history and the jitters).

I don't think you can discount TCU either. Especially since it's the final game of the season, TCU doesn't have as difficult of a schedule, it's at TCU and that could potentially be a game of two Top 10 teams. There's a lot on the line for that one.
