Steve Smith ties State Fair Speedway record with 7th title

Steve Smith continued what has become a legendary career at State Fair Speedway by winning a record-tying seventh points championship Sunday night. The Edmond resident drove his Dodge-powered Pro Stock to a sixth A feature win this season and tied the speedway record for most career titles.

Former open-wheel driver Glen Owens of Pauls Valley also won seven championships.
