Oklahoma football: Receiver Kenny Stills saw Landry Jones throwing to him on the jumbotron

Kenny Stills poked his head out of the media crowd.

He was looking to go say hi to his mom after his big performance — six receptions for 92 yards and two big touchdowns — in Oklahoma's 35-20 win over Iowa State.

Stills had read that people said he couldn't make big catches. He responded by focusing on it this year and making one for 21 yards and the other for 31 yards.

Can you walk us through the second touchdown?

I just came off the ball hard. The guy was pretty far off of me. Just got up on his toes. I could see up in the big screen, Landry had turned my way. So I turned around, he put the ball on my back shoulder, and I just went up and got it.

Was there interference on your first touchdown catch?

He thought I did. I barely touched him. I'm not too big of a guy. You'll know if I push somebody. Just kind of gave him a little chicken wing. That's what we're taught to do.

Landry threw to nine receivers. Was that part of the game plan?

We knew coming into the game we were going to rotate a little bit more. It was fun for me to see the younger guys play. I know it was Durron's birthday. I know he was excited to get out there and play and make a few catches.

What about Justin Brown's performance? (Brown had seven receptions for 107 yards and one touchdown)

Veteran guy just doing his job. Always doing his job. I know he's happy to have a huge game like this. He's come along way from Penn State and the things he went through there.

How about Brennan Clay?

I'm really proud of Brennan, just the way he's been working in the weight room, at practice, off the field, just taking care of business. He's really been waiting for his time to shine and he did today.
