Crash in northern Oklahoma kills Stillwater man

RINGWOOD — A Stillwater man died in a crash Thursday in Ringwood, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. Jared Cody Bedwell, 23, died at the scene of a sport utility vehicle crash about 12:25 a.m. on Main Street at U.S. 60, troopers said. Bedwell was driving north through Ringwood when he crossed U.S. 60 and the vehicle went into a ditch and overturned. Madison Leigh Chaney, 19, of Perkins, a passenger, was taken to an Enid hospital and treated for multiple injuries. Seat belts were not in use, troopers said.
