Seth Newton, OSU WR
With all-Big 12 wide receiver Adarius Bowman sidelined by a sprained knee, the Cowboys needed some receivers to step up. Newton, a junior, is a jack of all trades. He hauled in four passes for 62 yards and a touchdown.

Quinton Moore, OSU linebacker
Due to a rash of injuries, OSU has moved strong safety Andre Sexton to linebacker. Quinton Moore has taken over Sexton's old position. Moore recorded his first career interception to help turn the game into a rout a week after recording a career-high 14 tackles.

OSU kickers
Coaches gave Dan Bailey the job after Jason Ricks missed a potential go-ahead chip shot 32-yard field goal late against Texas. Bailey missed his first attempt, a 42-yarder, but converted a 27-yard field goal in the second half. Ricks was 8-of-14 before he lost the job. Overall, the Cowboys are 9-of-16 on field goals.
