DEWEY — Peters Hardware store is within five years of reaching the centennial mark.

It has survived during some tough times in American history, such as eras of world wars and economic downturn.

But the Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise reports that it's facing what just might end its lengthy run.

The owner of the building in which the store operates is selling the structure.
