Store sponsors fund-raiser for 7-year-old cancer patient

NORMAN - A fund-raiser to benefit a young Norman cancer patient is planned from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the south parking lot of Sam's Club, 3400 W Main.

The fund-raiser is to benefit Kraleigh Burnett, 7, who is fighting neuroblastoma, said Stephanie Odle, co-owner of Dishing It Up, a Norman meal preparation store.

Cookies donated by Sam's Club and Coca- Cola furnished by the beverage company will be available to people making donations for Kraleigh's treatments, Odle said. T-shirts will also be available for $5.

Dishing It Up is also selling packages of Kraleigh's favorite creamed corn side dish for $10. Half of the fee will be donated to the fund for Kraleigh, whose mother works at Dishing It Up, Odle said. For more information, call 824-9512.
