Oklahoma City Thunder basketball fans eager to wear gear proclaiming the team is the Western Conference champions won't have to wait long after the final buzzer tonight.

If the team clinches the title by beating the San Antonio Spurs, Academy Sports + Outdoors stores will immediately reopen to sell specially designed merchandise.

Stores will remain open until the last customer is served or the championship gear is sold out, the retailer said, and new shipments will continue to arrive as long as customers are buying it.

Stores received sealed boxes of Western Championship product Wednesday, but they won't reveal the design until after the game.

Academy Sports + Outdoors stores in the Oklahoma City metro include those at NW 63 and Northwest Expressway, 7700 S Walker Ave., 2501 S Broadway in Edmond and 2010 24th Ave. NW in Norman.
