Streetcar plans scrutinized by Oklahoma City Council

Several council members ask project developers to ensure consultants will study all available options for setting route, scope of downtown streetcar project. Surprised chair of transit subcommittee said same council members have been a part of project's development for years.

The groundwork for a streetcar proposed for downtown Oklahoma City has come under scrutiny from several members of the city council.

Five members said at a meeting Wednesday that they would like the consultant group tasked with developing the project to look beyond the proposals developed so far by the city's transit subcommittee.
