"Strong to severe storms possible." And did you see the high temp at Grandfield yesterday?

First off, the high temperature at Grandfield, Okla. yesterday was 94 degrees, according to the Oklahoma Mesonet.

Next, the National Weather Service, Norman Forecast Office’s forecast shows,

“A storm system will approach the Southern Plains this weekend, bringing a chance of rain and thunderstorms to Oklahoma and western north Texas.

Warm and dry weather can be expected through Saturday before increasing rain chances arrive.

Strong storms and strong winds are possible Sunday into Sunday night. Cooler weather is forecast by early next week.
