Student recounts how bullying led to suicide try Published: April 22, 2013

MIAMI, OK -- As children, parents and authorities throughout the country continue to look for solutions to the problem of bullying, a student in Miami describes how the situation can dominate a life.

The student tells the Miami News-Record about being bullied and how it led to an attempted suicide on Mother's Day last year.

The question-and-answer report brings out details in this specific instance that may cause alarm among parents who either have little or no knowledge of the problem.

The following story is told by a local student who tried to commit suicide at the age of 15, on Mother’s Day last year, because of bullying.
