Norman students cook up creative snacks for school contest
NORMAN — Rain Wall-Kuhn was watching the Food Network one day when inspiration struck her for a recipe.
Rain, 12, was watching a show featuring a chef making chocolate ravioli. She decided to develop a sweet recipe based on one of her favorite foods, spring rolls.
Her creation won her first-place honors and a best presentation award Tuesday at the district’s Middle School Culinary Contest.
