Study shows state lost jobs to China
The U.S. trade deficit with China has squeezed 15,400 jobs out of Oklahoma between 2001 and 2007, according to a study released this week by the Economic Policy Institute .
According to the report compiled for the Alliance for American Manufacturing , the state's job losses were felt in many sectors. The report said 26,100 manufacturing jobs in Oklahoma were lost between 2000 and 2007.
