FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) — Stuttgart striker Vedad Ibisevic will miss the next two Bundesliga games after being sent off in the 6-1 loss at Bayern Munich.
Ibisevic clashed with Bayern defender Jerome Boateng, who was shown a yellow card in the 74th-minute incident of Sunday's game. Bayern was already leading 6-1 at the time.
The German football federation ruled Monday the incident wasn't serious enough to warrant a longer ban.
Stuttgart has lost its first two Bundesliga matches of the season.
