Suburban Conference Girls All-Conference team

Shawnee’s McKenzie Cooper was named the Suburban Conference Player of the Year recently following a strong senior season that led the Wolves to the Class 5A semifinals. Her teammate Kelsey Simmons, a sophomore, was named the conference’s Defensive Player of the Year, while her coach Wendi Wells was named the Coach of the Year.
