Here is a look at Oklahoma's 45-31 Sugar Bowl win by the numbers:

1: Time in Sugar Bowl history with both quarterbacks throwing for more than 300 yards. This one. Alabama's AJ McCarron threw for 387, OU's Trevor Knight threw for 348.

4: Touchdown passes for OU's Trevor Knight, breaking the OU bowl record of three previously held by Cale Gundy (1993 Sun), Josh Heupel (1999 Independence) and Landry Jones (2009 Sun, 2011 Insight).

8: Interceptions thrown by Bama's AJ McCarron the previous two years combined. He threw two in the first half Thursday night.

42: Straight wins for OU when leading at halftime. The Sooners were up 31-17 at halftime.

52: First-half points allowed all season by Alabama. OU scored 31.
