Sugar Bowl on TV: Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge, Holly Rowe will call OU vs. Alabama

BY MEL BRACHT Published: January 1, 2014

ESPN's veteran broadcast crew of Brad Nessler, Todd Blackledge and sideline reporter Holly Rowe will call the Sugar Bowl.

It will be the first time the trio has called a Sooner game this season. The crew called the OU-Texas game last year and the OU-Texas Tech and Bedlam games in 2011.

Nessler, 57, also calls Thursday night games for the NFL Network. Blackledge, 52, a former Penn State and NFL quarterback, has written a book (“Taste of the Town”) about his dining segments in college towns. Rowe, 47, has covered a variety of sports for ESPN, including the Women's College World Series.
