Camp offered for children

with hemophilia

The Oklahoma Hemophilia Foundation will host Camp Independence from June 18-22. Regular registration is due May 1. Late registration is due May 21.

The camp is a five-day resident camp for children ages 7 to 17 who are Oklahoma residents who have bleeding disorders. Their siblings who live in the same household can also attend. Medical staff from The Children's Hospital at OU Medical Center is on site. Volunteers are also needed to staff the camp.

At Camp Independence, children participate in activities, including archery, fishing, swimming, a ropes course and more. Families can learn more at www.campindependence.org.
