EDMOND — Edmond Public Schools is participating in a summer food program that provides free breakfasts and lunches to children 18 and younger through June 29.
The meals are offered at Ida Freeman Elementary School, 501 W Hurd. Breakfast will be served from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and lunch will be served from noon to 12:45 p.m.
Children who wish to eat the free meals do not need to be enrolled in Edmond Public Schools, nor is there an application required to receive the free meals. The meals are supplied by the district as part of a U.S. Department of Agriculture program.
Meals will be provided without charge and are the same for children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or disability.
