Offensive line: B

The Sooners couldn't run much; tailbacks Chris Brown and DeMarco Murray combined for 73 yards on 32 carries. But the makeshift line, which included all-American tackle Trent Williams at center, protected Landry Jones reasonably well, which gave OU a chance to win. And Williams had no wild snaps.

Setting: A

Sun Bowl Stadium is carved out of the sides of mountains and overlooks the Texas-El Paso campus and the city. Not as majestic as, say, the view from Colorado's Folsom Field or Cal's Memorial Stadium, but still picturesque.

Receivers: A

A beleaguered season ended in glory. Ryan Broyles (13 catches for 156 yards) joined G.K. McCoy and Stanford tailback Toby Gerhart as the best players on the field. Plus Dejuan Miller (six catches, 84 yards) and Jaz Reynolds (three catches, 36 yards) combined for seven catches that produced first downs, five of them on third-down plays. And OU's only drop came from a tailback (DeMarco Murray).
