Sunny and 70s Thursday and Friday in Oklahoma before the 90s return for weekend

Temperatures will be in the 70s with gusty north winds Thursday and Friday. Then south winds Saturday and Sunday will heat up temperatures in central Oklahoma.

Temperatures will be in the 70s Thursday in central Oklahoma with patchy fog in the morning, the National Weather Service reports.

Thursday and Friday will be windy with gusts out of the northwest. On Saturday, south, southwest winds will bring warmer air. Temperatures will heat up Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 90s.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Patchy frost before 9 a.m. Otherwise, sunny with a high near 70. Northwest wind 7 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly clear with a low around 44. Northwest wind 8 to 13 mph becoming light and variable.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 75. West wind 6 to 13 mph.

Friday night: Mostly clear with a low around 51. West, northwest wind 6 to 8 mph becoming south in the evening.

Saturday: Sunny with a high near 90. South, southwest wind 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 59.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 91.

Sunday night: Clear with a low around 65.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 92.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 66.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 91.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 65.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny with a high near 85.
