9:20 a.m. Smoke in central Oklahoma appears to be coming from a 100-acre wildfire in Osage County, said Curt Goeller at the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. Skies are hazy with smoke across central Oklahoma and north to Osage County Friday morning. John Pike, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Norman, said the smoke in the air is stalling just north of Interstate 44 in central Oklahoma. Check for weather updates.

5:40 a.m. Oklahoma City area residents may wake up to the smell of smoke in the air Friday. Hazy skies are reported across central Oklahoma. North of Tulsa, a wildfire in Osage County has been contained by firefighters, but continues to burn out, and it is a possible source of the smoke that has traveled south in north winds, according to social media and local TV reports.

4:15 a.m. Friday will be sunny with light winds and temperatures in the low 80s in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

High winds will return Saturday. There is a chance for storms Sunday.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 82. Northeast wind 8 to 10 mph becoming east, southeast in the afternoon.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 61. Southeast wind around 11 mph.
