Wednesday weather will be sunny with temperatures near 70 degrees in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

North, northwest winds will gust up to 21 mph.

There is a slight chance for rain Thursday night.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 70. North, northwest wind 7 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 44. North wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light and variable.

Thursday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 71. West wind 8 to 13 mph becoming north in the afternoon.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 49. North wind 6 to 10 mph becoming south after midnight.

Friday: Partly sunny with a high near 76. South wind 8 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 51.

Saturday: Partly sunny with a high near 73.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 57.

Sunday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 79.
