Friday will be sunny and warm across Oklahoma, but rain is ahead Saturday, the National Weather Service reports.

Temperatures will be in the mid-60s Friday in central Oklahoma.

There is a 70 percent chance of rain Saturday after 9 a.m.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 65. South wind 16 to 22 mph with gusts as high as 31 mph.

Friday night: A 30 percent chance of rain after midnight. Mostly cloudy with a low around 38. South wind 7 to 12 mph becoming north 15 to 20 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Saturday: Rain and snow likely becoming all rain after 9 a.m. Cloudy with a high near 41. North wind 11 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 28. North, northwest wind 6 to 9 mph.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 57. North, northwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 38.

Monday: Sunny with a high near 74.

Monday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 46.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy with a low around 39.
