Sunny, warm weather is ahead Friday and Saturday in central Oklahoma with a slight chance for rain early Sunday.

High temperatures will be near 80 degrees in central Oklahoma Friday and near 90 degrees Saturday, the National Weather Service reports.

There is a 20 percent chance for rain Sunday in central Oklahoma.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Patchy fog before 7 a.m. Otherwise, mostly sunny with a high near 80. West, southwest wind 6 to 13 mph becoming north, northwest in the afternoon.

Friday night: Mostly clear with a low around 62. Light and variable wind becoming south, southeast 6 to 11 mph in the evening.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 91. South, southwest wind 13 to 21 mph with gusts as high as 29 mph.

Saturday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 71. South wind 17 to 24 mph with gusts as high as 33 mph.

Sunday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 86. Windy with a south wind 21 to 28 mph with gusts as high as 39 mph.

Sunday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 64.

Monday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 74.

Monday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 48.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71.
