A sunny fall day is ahead Monday in central Oklahoma with pleasant temperatures in the 70s.

The Oklahoma City forecast from the National Weather Service is as follows:

Monday: Sunny with a high near 76. North wind around 6 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Monday night: Clear with a low around 51. South, southeast wind 3 to 5 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 79. South wind 7 to 13 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 54. South, southeast wind 9 to 11 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 80. South, southeast wind 9 to 11 mph.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 55.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 81.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 62.

Friday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 78.

Friday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 62.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 78.
