Temperatures are starting to feel a little more like spring in central Oklahoma Monday.

Sunny skies, light wind and a high near 73 degrees is ahead Monday.

The Oklahoma City forecast from the National Weather Service is as follows:

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 73. North wind 3 to 7 mph.

Monday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 55. Light and variable wind becoming east around 5 mph after midnight.

Tuesday: Partly sunny with a high near 77. South, southeast wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Partly cloudy with a low around 57. South, southeast wind around 11 mph.

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Mostly sunny with a high near 82. South wind 13 to 17 mph with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Wednesday night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 60.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 79.

Thursday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 61.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 74.
