Weather outlook for the metro area on Saturday is pleasant, with highs in the lower 90s and mostly clear skies.

Significant weather advisories are in effect in Haskell and Latimer counties in southeast Oklahoma, but forecasters at the National Weather Service in Norman see no rain in the eastern or central parts of the state until possibly Sunday.

A cold front late Sunday could bring some severe storms along and east of I-35, with large hail and damaging winds the main concerns. Thunderstorm chances will continue Monday and Tuesday, with a few strong storms possible.

Forecast for the coming work week is moderate, with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid-50s.
