Sunshine, shade or water: There's plenty to do in Oklahoma this July Fourth

Hundreds of events, most involving food, music and fireworks, are scheduled Wednesday as Oklahomans celebrate the nation's birthday.

Yukon: Freedom Fest at Yukon City Park, 2200 S Holly, including car show, children's parade, contests and food, at 10 a.m. Concerts at Chisholm Trail Park, 500 W Vandament, at 5 p.m. Oklahoma City Philharmonic to perform patriotic songs at 8:30 p.m., followed by fireworks. Information: 354-1895.
