Moore has appeared to be a late bloomer on the recruiting radar, simply because Copelin was attracting so much attention last season.
“Cre played in Levi's shadow last year,” coach Steve Spavital said. “But Cre played a lot, and he runs exceptionally well. He's really sticking out at college camps, because he's big and fast and he works hard.
“We really hope he has a great year.”
Moore's first offer came from Memphis on May 2, and it's been a nonstop process since then. But he's in no hurry to make a choice, considering last year's Class 6A runners-up have a much bigger goal on their minds.
“I probably won't have a decision until after the season,” he said. “Right now, I'm focused on helping the team win a state championship.”
