It's an annual tradition akin to the Puppy Bowl and the best commercials on earth.

No, not the Super Bowl. Prop bets!

If you're not familiar, Las Vegas puts out an eclectic list of bets you can make on the Super Bowl each year, from an over/under on how long the National Anthem will be, to percentage chances the game will go into overtime.

It adds some excitement to what can be a long and sometimes unexciting game to watch. For example, there's a cross-sport prop bet that currently has Peyton Manning's number of pass attempts favored by 7.5 over Kevin Durant's point total against the Washington Wizards from Saturday night. Durant scored 26 points in the loss, so Vegas has the odds in favor of Manning passing more than 34 times against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Fun stuff, right?

SB Nation's "The Phinsider" Managing Editor Kevin Nogle compiled a list of some of the best prop bets leading up to kickoff tonight. Here are some examples of the side-bet extravaganza:

Total Rushing Yards (over/under)
Seahawks team: 129.5 yards
Broncos team: 93.5 yards
Marshawn Lynch: 92 yards
Knowshon Moreno: 59 yards

Over/Under for Renee Fleming to sing the National Anthem: 2 minutes and 23 seconds.

Times Mentioned During Broadcast
"12th Man": over/under 2 times (Over +100 | Under -140)

Over/Under for number of times Peyton Manning says "Omaha" during the game: 27.5 times

First Bruno Mars song:
Locked out of Heaven: -125
Treasure: 3/1
Grenade: 11/2
Just the Way You Are: 9/1
Gorilla: 10/1
Marry You: 12/1
The Lazy Song: 12/1
