Super Bowl sparks fight, shooting in southeast Oklahoma

A Le Flore County man is in stable condition after he was shot three times in the abdomen during a domestic dispute which deputies say was sparked by the Super Bowl.



According to Arkansas KFSM, Robert Gene Hamner, 35, was flown to a Tulsa hospital shortly after the incident.

The station reports that investigators think Hamner was unhappy with the outcome of the game and began assaulting his wife. The woman's son then picked up a handgun and fired four shots at Hamner.
