Survey: NFL players want Adrian Peterson in Super Bowl Published: January 22, 2014

In ESPN's NFL Nation Confidential, an anonymous survey of more than 320 players around the league, players voted former OU running back Adrian Peterson as the player they'd most like to see in the Super Bowl.

Peterson claimed 18 percent of the vote with 59 votes, three more than Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez.

The closest Peterson has come to the Super Bowl was in 2009, when the Minnesota Vikings lost to the eventual champion New Orleans Saints in the NFC Championship Game.
