Weapons charges could land an Oklahoma City man in prison for as much as 10 years.

John Melvin Davis, 53, was indicted Wednesday by a federal grand jury in Oklahoma City.
Davis was arrested June 19 at his home in Noble after federal agents found a handgun and ammunition in his bag, according to court papers. They also found stolen guns and nearly 11,000 bullets in a Norman storage locker.
Davis is charged with possessing ammunition and unregistered firearms after a felony conviction. He has been convicted of eight felony offenses, including five that landed him in prison for more than 20 years, according to court papers.
