Suspect who died in Oklahoma City crash was on probation for armed robbery, police say

A robbery suspect who died in a crash had served prison time for armed robbery, Oklahoma City police said Wednesday.

Police identified the woman as Aline Marie Williams, 54. She was released from prison in June 2011 and was on probation at the time of her death, police said.

Williams fled from police following an armed robbery Tuesday at JR's Truck Stop, 1901 E Reno Ave., and crashed into an unoccupied building at NE 18 and Martin Luther King Avenue. She died at the scene, police said.

Her suspected accomplice, Sammie Nugent, 60, was arrested on an armed robbery complaint.

The robbery victim is a truck driver who suffered minor injuries, police said.
