The father of the suspect in a quadruple homicide said deep down he thought his son was capable of killing his family, a court document reveals.
Daniel Green, 40, was arrested Thursday on murder complaints after police found four of his relatives — including an infant and a teenage girl — dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to an arrest affidavit filed Friday in Oklahoma County District Court.
Sallie Green, 57; Rebecca Cizek, 34; Katherine Cizek, 16; and Amario Dominguez III, an infant, were killed inside the family’s home at 4601 SE 79.
Green didn’t tell police he shot his family members, but he did say he might have “emptied a magazine on them,” according to the arrest affidavit.
Green told police he doesn’t remember because he blacked out, but he did remember the magazine clip in the gun was empty when he got into a family member’s car at the house.
When police took Green into custody, they found a .380 semi-automatic handgun in the passenger seat of the vehicle he was driving.
Raymond Green, the suspect’s father, said all of his guns were locked up in the house, but his daughter’s gun, a .380, was hidden in the attic, according to the affidavit.
Raymond Green told police his son had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and had a history of violence.
On Daniel Green’s Facebook page, numerous posts were dedicated to former Disney star Selena Gomez with personal and often sexually explicit messages.
Green told police he had to get away from his family members because they were stopping him from being with his one true love, the affidavit states.
