Authorities Tuesday released the names of those involved in a deadly police chase in Seminole County Sunday morning.

Brandon O'Kelly, 28, of Holdenville, died in the chase that ended about 1:40 a.m. on a county road north of Seminole.

O'Kelly was a passenger in a car being chased by Jose Comenares-Villatoro, 20, of Moore. Comenares-Villatoro is an officer with the Seminole Nation Lighthorse Police.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers said Comenares-Villatoro had been chasing the car for several miles when it came to the crest of a hill and the driver lost control. The car flipped several times.

O'Kelly was thrown from the car and run over by Comenares-Villatoro's police cruiser.

Troopers said the driver of the suspect car was Cory Burns, 24, of Bowlegs. Another passenger in the car, John Northcott, 22, of Earlsboro, was not injured, troopers said.
