TEMPE, Ariz. (AP) — Will Sutton has always been the kind of player who preferred to lead by example.
That's changed this season.
As No. 11 Arizona State has moved closer to attaining its goals, the senior defensive tackle has become a more vocal leader.
Sutton has been one of the most disruptive defensive players in the country the past two seasons, becoming the second player to repeat as the Pac-10/12's defensive player of the year.
Over the past month or so, he's added to his resume by speaking out in the huddle, on the sideline and in the locker room.
Behind Sutton, Arizona State will host the Pac-12 Championship game against No. 7 Stanford on Saturday with a spot in the Rose Bowl on the line.
