The prospective bride is the granddaughter of Maealys
and the late Harold Swartzendruber of Diamondhead,
Miss. and Peggy Childers of Oklahoma City. She is a
graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in
Journalism/Mass Communications. Stephanie is employed as a Social Worker.
The prospective groom is the son of Stanley and Cathy
Rippy of Eufaula, Okla. and the grandson of Byrl and
Verna Brackett and Maxine Rippy, all of Eufaula. He is a
Graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in
English Literature. He is employed as a teacher.
The couple is planning a June 8, 2006 ceremony in Cabo
San Lucas, Mexico. The bride will be given away by her
father and the Matron of Honor will be Shawna Mayfield.
