SWAT team needed to get UFC fighter out of house

UFC light heavyweight Thiago Silva was arrested late Thursday night after he barricaded himself inside his residence in southern Florida, according to reports.

Silva (16-3) has fought in the UFC since 2007, but was reported to have been in the middle of an altercation at Pablo Popovitch Mixed Martial Arts Academy in Oakland Park, Fla., on Thursday.

The Brazilian fighter was reported to have left the scene and fled to his residence, where he proceeded to barricade himself inside.
