SOCHI, Russia (AP) — A combined practice planned by Russia's and Switzerland's Olympic men's hockey teams has been canceled.

Swiss Ice Hockey spokesman Alexander Keller says it was a mutual decision.

Both teams were scheduled to share ice time Sunday night after both practiced on their own.

Russia's first game is Thursday against Slovakia. Switzerland will play Latvia in the second of two games Wednesday, the first day of the men's tournament in Sochi.
