NORMAN — Families can learn more about adoption Saturday at Hope Symposium sponsored by Oklahoma Adoption Coalition and Crosspointe Church.

The event is from 9:15 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. at the church, 2601 24th Ave. SE. Information will be provided about domestic and international adoption as well as foster care, mentoring, legal issues and home studies.

"One of the most helpful ways to embark on the adoption journey is visit with other adoptive families or to attend an event that features information about the various options available to create your family,” said Dierdre McCool, Oklahoma Adoption Coalition president.

Child care and a free lunch will be provided.
